The Kinabalu Call: A Chat with Jasmin Kimin

Often times we want to know what is happening when a tragedy strikes. Like a hot iron, it gets hyped-up for a few hours or days, and then all is forgotten again as life resumes to normal. But for the local community that has been affected, their lives would never be the same again.

‘Songs & Stories’ chats with Jasmin Kimin, a local Ranau chap who worked near Mount Kinabalu before the earthquake took place on 5th June 2015. Jasmin discussed the morning of the tragedy, how it has impacted the local community and how his life has changed ever since. For more of such stories, subscribe to our YouTube channel as new video stories are shared every Friday. Stay tuned for more!
